In the book, Lu, by Jason Reynolds, it follows a boy named Lu. The problem of the story is that Lu he has to put his ego to the side and worry about his family and his track meet. Lu is a one and a million kids. He was an albino baby so he doesn’t have any pigment in his skin. Because of this, he wishes that he could have a brother so he could see what he would look like. But the problem is that his mom can’t have kids. All of the sudden, his mom and dad surprises him and says that his mom is pregnant. His parents say he has the responsibility of naming his new sibling. He is a really good runner and wins a lot of races.
